In the past month since we saw the real Paw Patrol as she calls it, she still mentions it from time to time and I can’t see this particular obsession ending anytime soon.ĭISCLOSURE: we were provided with tickets to this event in return for our honest review. I know this particular little lady enjoyed every second of the show and was suitably devasted when it finished and the pups left the stage. Beautifully staged with amazing costumes and a very slick and clean production, Paw Patrol LIVE is a must see for any Paw Patrol fan. Overall it was a great day out which was just good, solid entertainment for the kids. Added to the fact that the show moved at such a great pace, it ensured their attention was held throughout. The 80 minute show was split into two 20 minute halves which meant there was no extended sitting to make the kids restless. However, what really made it all worthwhile was the look of awe on the Bears face and her utter glee as Ryder declared there was “no job is too big, no pup is too small”. The costumes were fantastic though and the entire show was ingeniusly staged considering the bulk of costumes that needed to be negociated. Which if you’re a child is a fantastic thing, however less so for the parents. The accents were questionable and the action fairly representative of the show. It turns out she’s hurt her ankle and the pups need to save the day and take her place, ensuring that Adventure Bay once again emerges victorious. Mayor Goodway once again needed the pups help as she goes missing on race day. The story was a simple one and followed the format of the TV show. She was so in awe of what she was watching she just couldn’t take her eyes from the show. To look at her you’d think she wasn’t enjoying it as I don’t think she smiled the entire time, but the opposite was true. Tears were soon forgotten though as her heroes took to the stage and she was instantly captivated. Mainly because she was just far too excited but also because she was just so overwhelmed and was desperate to get in and see the real Paw Patrol. We broke the news to her the day before the show as we knew that she wouldn’t be able to cope with the news too far in advance and in true Bear fashion, she spent the morning so excited that we had tears before even heading into the arena. So needless to say when Ryder and the pups went on tour and made an appearance near us in Liverpool last month, we knew a certain little girl who would love every moment, and we weren’t wrong. Yep, our house could stock your local Toy’s R Us. She loves them all – especially Skye and Chase – and has a mixed collection of little figures, medium teddies, and huge towels. Or 10 times a day if you live in our house with a Paw Patrol obsessed almost 3 year old. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that there are a team of pups down in Adventure Bay who basically save the day….well, on a daily basis.
